“We are quite delighted with our performance in 2021 despite meeting hurdles created by the tragic second wave of the epidemic and other global issues such as semi-conductor, commodity pricing, shipment challenges, and so on,” Balbir Singh Dhillon, who works as the Head of Audi India, stated. ” Our sales have more than doubled in the last year, with a growth rate of over 101 percent. We launched nine new models in 2021, marking our breakthrough into the Indian Electric vehicle industry with five electric vehicle releases.”
“At the moment, we are the only brand that offers five electric vehicles.” Products such as the Audi A6, Audi Q8, Audi A4, and our RS models continued to perform well, and we already have a healthy order bank for the start of 2022. In terms of retail, we not only established a new car showroom and workshops in 2021, but we also increased our pre-owned automobile capabilities,” Dhillon said.
“2022 is set to become another vigorous year for Audi India,” Dhillon remarked. “We will remain focused on Digitalization, Products, Customer Centricity, and Network in our Strategy 2025. We are going to continue to revolutionize luxury for our clients with our promising array of volume, performance, and electric vehicles. We’ll have all of our units back in the country, and we’re expecting a good performance in the coming months.”
