The Minimum Living Income is one of the most important aids regulated by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, but it still raises certain doubts regarding such practical issues as the date of payment of the benefit.

For this reason, the ministry has published in its information profile on the social network Twitter warning that people who have received approval of the aid will begin to collect the aid depending on the moment in which said approval was transmitted to them .

Thus, “if it was approved before the 10th, you will collect it on the first business day of October. If it was later, the first business day of November, because the payroll for October was already closed,” explains the ministry, which sets the date reference on the 10th of each month .

As the next October 10 (Sunday) coincides as a holiday, the Social Security clarifies that “the dates we give are approximate, they vary depending on how non-working days, holidays, the dynamics of each provincial direction fall.”

What is the amount of the IMV
Certain limits are established for each family unit, detailed in the following list:

-An adult: 469.93 euros per month.

-An adult and a minor: 714.29 euros per month.

-One adult and two minors: 855.27 euros per month.

-One adult and three or more minors: 996.25 euros per month.

-Two adults: 610.91 euros per month.

-Two adults and a minor: 751.89 euros per month.

-Two adults and two minors: 892.87 euros per month.

-Two adults and three or more minors: 1,033.85 euros per month.

-Three adults: 751.89 euros per month.

-Three adults and one minor: 892.87 euros per month.

-Three adults and two or more minors: 1,033.85 euros per month.

-Four adults: 892.87 euros per month.

-Four adults and one or more minors: 1,033.85 euros per month.

How to calculate IMV
This benefit is compatible with other income such as income from work, subsidies or State benefits, so the limits set for each type of family unit (it depends on its members) establish the maximum amount of money they can receive. If they had income below that amount, the amount would be the result of subtracting that income from the limit amount .

For example, if in a household made up of two adults and a minor, the only income comes from a job of 500 euros per month of one of the two adults, the following calculation will have to be performed: your income limit ( 751.89 euros per month for this type of unit) minus the income obtained (the previously mentioned 500 euros). Thus, the amount of IMV that will correspond to them will be 251.89 euros per month.
